Day 29: Joel

Hello Day 29: Joel - EXIT
Hey everyone happy new year!! I am excited for a great new year to come! So today in the book of Joel there were many prophets who committed some specific sins of Jewish of people. But Joel simply called for repentance from God. Though God judges sin, He always offers a way out - in our time, through Jesus. So today in my art i used an exit sign because its the way out. And God always offers away out when we sin. He is such a great God it amazes me every single day how great He is in every situation. Today i also made a video of just a little process of making a simple piece of work for 66 Words. In any video i make the songs i put are the ones i'm listening to while working... so al you see i used the beetles. Plus they are amazing musicians. I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year!!

Day 28: Hosea

Hello Day 28: Hosea - FAITHFUL
So today i made a video! So if you are reading this from facebook you can either click the link to my blog or check it out on youtube. I have never made a video before like this and i used a crappy camera because my mom's nice one does not take video. So thank God i have a job i will be starting soon so i can buy myself a nice digital SLR with HD video on it. That will be SWEET! Well anyways today in Hosea marries a women who cheats on him. In this book it talked about God's warnings for disobedience as well as His promises of blessing from repentance. I thought that was a good part for me. About God's blessing because obviously i am not married or do any of that stuff. So i wanted to make the work more about God's faithfulness, because in any and every situation we should rely on God. So as you can see in the video!! That God is faithful, even when His people aren't and He's always ready to forgive.

The LORD says, "Then I will heal you of your faithlessness; my love will know no bounds, for my anger will be gone forever Hosea 14:4

Day 27: Daniel

Hello Day 27: Daniel - HEAR
When I was reading Daniel I read about Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They all had hearts for God and these guys always stayed together. They really relied on each other for prayer and encouragement. When we have so many people giving us advice in life and suggestions you have to know who to listen to and who to ignore. Thats why I need my quite time well we all do. We need that silence and solitude to just drop all the voices so you can really hear God. With your busy lives, what is the one way you can get away from all the voices in your life? Take a moment in the middle of your day and listen for God's voice.

Daniel 1:17-19
God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams.

When the training period ordered by the king was completed, the chief of staff brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service.

I did not post every verse but you should still read Daniel 1 and 2

Day 26: Ezekiel

Hello Day 26: Ezekiel -BURNING

I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live! Ezekiel 18:32

For all people are mine to judge—both parents and children alike. And this is my rule: The person who sins is the one who will die.

Suppose a certain man is righteous and does what is just and right. Ezekiel 18:4-5

and faithfully obeys my decrees and regulations. Anyone who does these things is just and will surely live, says the Sovereign Lord. Ezekiel 18:9

I used the word burning as a symbol of life and the way we live. We should be like a live fire burning for God at all moments of life.
Its much harder for me to say what i am trying to say through words thats why i use the art with drawings pictures etc. So hopefully it makes since to you all or let it have its own meaning to you.

Day 25:Lamentations

Hello Day 25:Lamentations-DAYS

Lamentations 5:21 a couple difference versions...

For some of the pictures i post you have to click them to see the whole thing just letting readers know.

Day 23: Isaiah

Hello day 23: Isaiah- SAVE

But he was pierced for our rebellion,

Happy almost birthday Jesus!!

So we open our Christmas presents the night before Christmas and I just got the iPad!!! Wow and I asked for books haha. I guess I should ask for books more often! So now that blogging is much more accessible I can continue on with my 66 Words project which makes me super stoked! Plus my parents gave me this adapter thing that you can just plug in the chip from the camera. I know it pretty sweet! Thank you mommy and daddy for such a wonderful present!!! I love you both very much!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and remember Jesus is the reason for the season!!

Day 22: Song of Solomon

Hello Day 22: Song of Solomon -MARRIAGE
So it has been forever since i did this it feels like. I guess i took a break i just didn't want to overwhelm my self, because this should be something i enjoy and i didn't want to make in UN enjoyable. So now that i am some what less busy ha. Well i don't want you all to think just because i stopped this i stopped my quiet time because that is not true i absolutely have fallen in love with my quiet time every morning i love having that time to pray and read my bible it helps me so much get through each day. By the way i miss spell so many words so i apologize for that, but you probably know what i am trying to say. Well to get back to Song of Solomon, i used the word marriage because i think that describes it. It talks about love and how married love is the best and beautifulest love!

Song of Solomon 8:7
Many waters cannot quench love,
nor can rivers drown it.
If a man tried to buy love
with all his wealth,
his offer would be utterly scorned.

Day 21: Ecclesiastes

Hello Day 21: Ecclesiastes -STRIVE
Hey everyone! So i hope you are all having great weeks and i know i am excited for the weekend and i bet you all are as well. I hope you all have great weekends :) Well i will be gone for a couple of days and most likely will not post but i will catch up when i get back. Anyways so for Ecclesiastes its kinda a bunch of sad comments from King Solomon. At first it is pretty sad because of all the wisdom God blessed him with then he arrives to one conclusion that life is meaningless. But there are actually a bunch of good stuff in Ecclesiastes and its a pretty good i think. So i would recommend it because it is really short and great. So for today's word i wrote strive because that's the word used to describe Ecclesiastes 3:12 in today's art. So i think that i need to strive to do good in life, not just in what i want but what i don't want to do. I really just want to strive to do good in all things from art which i love to math which i dislike very very much ha ha. Because we only have one life so we need to live it to the fullest for God.

Ecclesiastes 3:12
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can.

Day 20: Proverbs

Hello Day 20: Proverbs -COMMIT
So sorry i am behind but i am just going to post both of them today. So the verse i focused on was proverbs 16:3 it was actually the first verse i memorized so its kinda special to me. I used the word commit because it is in the verse and i think we need to commit all of our selfs to God. We can't just commit the parts we want and keep what we want. We have to truly commit all of our selfs to God. Talking about commitment, today at school my art teacher showed me this Christian college and when i saw it i instantly fell in love. Well i have been wanting to go to NYC for college before i was a Christian, but maybe thats not where God wants me maybe thats just where i wanted myself. I have never wanted to go to any other college people try to suggest to me, but this one was different, i actually wanted to go to this college maybe even more than NYC. So thats just kinda on my mind right now and i am just committing all of myself to God and trust Him everywhere Her leads me.

Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.

Day 19: Psalms

Hello Day 19: Psalms -REFUGE
Hey everyone, i really hope your weeks are going great so far! So when i got to this book of the bible i was like wow I'm already in the center of the bible pretty much, but i still have more books to do. But i thought it was pretty exciting. Then there is so much i could say through Psalms and then when i was reading "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble." I was like ah that's so true everyday when i read something new in the bible it really excites me because it all makes so much since and i just love reading more in the bible everyday! Refuge is like our place to go and get away and that is how it is when i do my quite time i just get to get away from all the distractions and i love having that refuge away everyday. Also at my church the Wednesday nights for the student ministries are called refuge because its our escape from everything and we can just focus on God.

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.

Day 18: Job

Hello Day 18: Job -HANDMADE
So when i was going to Job today to read i instantly saw this " You formed me with your hands; you made me" then i decided to just start reading from there. Job keeps praying to God about so many different things with his life and it was speaking to me about prayer and how it needs to be constantly in my life and i just want to praise God for everything because he handmade us and chooses everything about us. God knows every flaw in me and every great thing about me. I really want to keep praying more and more and more because its one of the best ways i can talk to God. So i had a prayer journal for a while then i stopped using it and i decided to start to write back in it because when i was reading the things i wrote i loved being able to look back and see what happen then or what i prayed about and what was the outcome. It was pretty amazing and i would definitely recommend one to everyone. Its kinda crazy how i can read something in the bible and it can hit me in so many different ways. I would have to say that's pretty amazing!

Job 10:8a
"'You formed me with your hands; you made me,"

Day 17: Esther

Hello Day 17: Esther -BEAUTY
I choose to draw a quick sketch of a womens face because when i think of Esther i picture this beautiful women, not so sure if my picture is that beautiful, i had to do it quick. So the word i choose was beauty because i think Esther was beautiful in so many different ways on the inside and out with her Godly spirit, strength and obedience. I think the main think that this book is saying to me is about literally everything happens for a reason, God had it planed He put you in that situation for you to make the change not for you to sit there. I really want to change my attitude toward certain situations because I know everything is all apart of God's glorious plans and i want to be positive about them all.

Esther 2:15
Now when the time came for Esther to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king's eunuch who was in charge of the harem, suggested.

Day 16: Nehemiah

Hello Day 16: Nehemiah -LIVE
In todays book Nehemiah really stayed true to God. He prayed about a lot of things and he new how important is was to stay true to God each day with his prayers. So todays is really short but i just need to live my life for God. Thats why todays word is live because we should live our life for God and always be true and faithful to Him as He is to us.

Nehemiah 1:4-7

4 When I heard this, I sat down and wept. In fact, for days I mourned, fasted, and prayed to the God of heaven. 5 Then I said,

“O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands, 6 listen to my prayer! Look down and see me praying night and day for your people Israel. I confess that we have sinned against you. Yes, even my own family and I have sinned! 7 We have sinned terribly by not obeying the commands, decrees, and regulations that you gave us through your servant Moses.

Day 15: Ezra

Hello Day 15: Ezra -ENDURES
So today i got out my mom's old type writer, which was actually really fun to play with. but boy am i thankful for computers, because as you can tell i spelled endures as emdures because there is no back space it is just start all over. It really makes me thankful for all this technology i have to use and the amazingness of backspace and spell check! In this verse the people were praising the Lord because the foundation for the temple had been laid and it made me think of how the typewriter was the foundation for the computer so that's why i used it to show today's art. Also when i write each day its really not the greatest and I'm sorry for all who just want to read, but its more about the art each day relating through the bible and i really want people to be-able to connect through that because i am not the greatest writer ever. The reason i write is to just give an explanation to you. I really hope you all are enjoying this and relating to the art and the message of God. Thanks so much for keeping up :)

Ezra 3:11
With praise and thanks, they sang this song to the LORD: "He is so good! His faithful love for Israel endures forever!" Then all the people gave a great shout, praising the LORD because the foundation of the LORD's Temple had been laid.

Day 14: II Chronicles

Hello Day 14: 2 Chronicles -HUMBLE
So today my verse that i was starting my artwork from is 2 Chronicles 7:14. God talks about when people humble themselves and pray and see God's face, as well as turn from their wicked ways. Then God will forgive the sins. Today's word is humble because i think that's something we all can work on is being more humble. God wants us to be and i know i just want to try to serve God everyday and be humble about everything. One thing that was hitting my heart today was if my life dreams never come true will i still serve Christ as best as i can? Then something happen today and i was sad at first and then i realized God had his glorious plans and He knows what he is doing everyday with everything in my life and in this world. So i just need to trust Him literally with everything and where ever He brings me in life i will serve Him. It might not be where i thought but i know He knows whats supposed to happen. So in my picture i drew a quick sketch of Jesus looking up to God because that's why i inspire to do always is always be looking up to God. Jesus is my hero for how amazing he is and i know with everything in life i just have to keep looking up at God and that glorious light He has shinning on my and where He wants me.

2 Chronicles 7:14
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

friends let friends Breathe...

So today i started this new thing on Facebook, i also started a group on it, so hopefully people will join and start to do this with me... friends let friends Breathe... is designed for Facebook users to send a message to a different friend everyday. You should want to send an encouraging message to your friend to get to know them or tell them something they did that really impacted you, just anything you feel comfortable with it just has to be sweet, kind and uplifting! You can title all of your messages with " friends let friends Breathe...". I am just going to start at the top of my friends list and go from there, but don't forget about when you add new friends! I am really excited to start this today because i think it will be great! You never really know what someone is going through any day and an encouraging note on Facebook can really go a long way! I hope you all join me in this epidemic of love and friendship on Facebook! I am really excited about doing this... i hope you all join in! If you don't have Facebook then you can do it too just via blog or email etc... :)

Day 13: I Chronicles

Hello Day 13: 1 Chronicles -MUSIC
Today's word is music because when i was reading i stopped when i saw the title duties of the musicians. I think music is such an important thing in our life's as well as our walks with God. Music is such a great way of worship or just to listen and think about the lyrics and to help to deal with anything you are going through. I love listening to christian music because its so extremely powerful. If you haven't listen to any before you should try some are David Crowder Band and Steve Fee. If you want to know more you can just ask :) I know worship is always such a great way to praise God for me and it changes your life and strengthens our relationship with God. Well that's about it for today because i am very tired. So i hope you enjoy!

1 Chronicles 25:6
All these men were under the direction of their fathers as they made music at the house of the LORD. Their responsibilities included the playing of cymbals, harps, and lyres at the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman reported directly to the king.

Day 12: II Kings

Hello Day 12: 2 Kings -LAWS
While i was reading in 2 Kings it was describing how the kings of these nations refused to obey God's law. The kings and their people did not respect God. The people served other gods. But there were a few people who truly served God. That's why my word today is laws because Christianity is your choice if you choice to follow God's laws or your own. Those people who didn't follow God or His laws had very bad morals and i think this to me was saying how Christianity is your choice. I believe its the right choice. But its ultimately up to you and your walk with God and your own faith and how you choose to follow God and His laws. So what do you choose?

2 Kings 2:1-2
1 When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal. 2 And Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.”
But Elisha replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

Day 11: I Kings

Hello Day 11: 1 Kings -PRAY
So today when i was reading, i was focusing on Solomon and how he kept praying to the Lord and dedicating all things to Him. So i decided to focus prayer. Well as you know its very complicated to try to do a quick and easy art project everyday especially when you don't have all day. I think its really good though because it keeps me thinking all the time and helps me learn more about art and what i like and do not like. It also helps me learn about the bible because i can not do a piece of work and not know what it is about. So i always have to figure what i am reading before i make art. Also if you have any suggestions on a good web site to go to when i need to understand a book of the bible better that would be very helpful. So today's work is different things combined. The background is a painting i made representing when Solomon praises the Lord, i used glass on the painting to represent the temple because its great and bright and when light reflects glass it become bright and when i see brightness it remind me of God. Then i took sharpies and wrote on a broken mirror pray., which is today's word for when Solomon prayed before the entire community of Israel. Then after i photographed both pieces i took parts of them and photo shopped them together into today's piece of art. So my art work with the project will probably never be the best but i think that it really helps me have better techniques and learn so much more with God and art.

1 Kings 8: 12-13, 22-23
12 Then Solomon prayed, “O Lord, you have said that you would live in a thick cloud of darkness. 13 Now I have built a glorious Temple for you, a place where you can live forever!
22 Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the entire community of Israel. He lifted his hands toward heaven, 23 and he prayed,

Day 10: 2 Samuel

Hello Day 10: 2 Samuel -HUMILITY
So today in 2 Samuel what was really standing out to me was when it was talking about humility and how we need it, its a necessity. I need to admit my total dependence on God for everything. There is this quote that we read in our CTD at church "Humility is a most strange thing. The moment you think you have acquired it is just the moment you have lost it." Bernard Meltzer. I think that is really good thing to think about because you don't want to be all prideful. You want to be humble. So when i did my today's art it spells out life and in the i, i put words like humility, are you there?, etc. things like that because they need to me in my life that the reason i put them in the I because of me as in I. I hope these post are some what of interest to you all and can get you to think on some of them and i love hearing feedback or comments and you can always send a message to me if you feel more comfortable doing that or if you just want to tell me about you or your day :). thanks so much for reading.

2 Samuel 22:28
You rescue the humble,
but your eyes watch the proud and humiliate them.

Day 9: I Samuel

Hello Day 9:1 Samuel -SACRIFICE
Sorry that this post is a day late because yesterday I was working and did not get home til midnight. So the post got postponed ha ha. But i should still be doing another one tonight as well. So today's word is sacrifice and at first when i thought to use that word in this book it made me think of so many things and what type of art work to do with this piece. Some times i know this happens with me and probably you too, but you just want to keep that think for your self and be like oh well i worked for that or something even thought its all Gods all the time. We, me included just need to GIVE GOD OUR ALL!!! That's something that i need to just let go of things and let God take control because He will have me where He wants me not where I want to be. I think that living for God will require sacrifices and how we respond to those moments will really begin to shape us and others.

1 Samuel 1:27-28
27 I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and he has granted my request.
28 Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life.” And they[a] worshiped the Lord there.

Day 8: Ruth

Hello Day 8: Ruth -SEE
Are you wondering whats up with todays art? Well when you look at each days piece, I don't want you to just look and see oh thats cool, or whatever your opinion is. You should really try to think what do you see or think? Thats why todays word is see, because this project is for me to further my relationship with God and learn more about the bible and i want you to do that as well if you are reading. You can see what you think relates to you that day. What kind of art would you choose or what word? The book of Ruth is so much about loyalty, love, kindness, the value of a person, and the need to understand one another. When i think of what i would put in my white box it would be of my youth ministers Heather and Eddie. They are such a wonderful married couple and so dedicated to Christ and its extremely inspiring. I look up to them as my Christian leaders as well as a couple for Jesus. It makes me know that i want to have the right relationship that will further my life with God like theirs and not bring me away. I really hope my insights to what i read don't confuse you because i am a pretty confusing person, but my brain just gets wrapped around so many thoughts when i read something and think about it. I hope you continue to read and follow this project and i would always love to get feedback on anything from how your day is or something in that book that inspired you. Love you all so much :)

Ruth 3:10
“The Lord bless you, my daughter!” Boaz exclaimed. “You are showing even more family loyalty now than you did before, for you have not gone after a younger man, whether rich or poor

Day 7: Judges

Hello Day 7: Judges -ABANDONED
So the word i choose for today was abandoned and that's one thing i never want to do. That is abandoned my amazing Lord. When i was reading in Judges how Israel disobeys God after all He had done for them, it made me kinda mad. I don't want to leave my God because i am selfish and He is so great i don't know how someone could leave Him. I used me in the picture because i am the sinner and i need my God to rescue me always. His grace is amazing to me how He forgives and forgives because He already knows we are not perfect and i love that He will love me forever and ever. Also i am really glad i am posting this because if i ever start to fall from my faith and i start to read this i think it will help me realize what i abandoned. Which i hope will never happen because of how great and mighty my God is.

Judges 2:12
They abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They went after other gods, worshiping the gods of the people around them. And they angered the Lord.

Day 6: Joshua

Hello Day 6: Joshua -BREATHE
So today in Joshua when i started reading two things just jumped out at me when God was talking to Joshua. He told him that He will not fail you or abandon you. It really stuck with me just how God is always with me wherever i go, He says to be courageous and strong. Then i was just thinking about my week and the stuff that goes on in all of our life everyday. Well at church tonight we sang this song and it just got to me telling me to lift up my voice, we as Christians need to spread the word of God thats the reason we breathe... as you can see in the picture and the word i used for todays book. Well the reason i believe, i live is for God and to have everyones knees bow together for God and I know i can be strong as long as i have God with me and i don't have to worry about what people think because it is what God wants and there is a bigger picture where i am going and thats heaven.

Joshua 1:5
5 No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.

Joshua 1:9
9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Day 5: Deuteronomy

Hello Day 5: Deuteronomy -ONE
Today's word is one because there is only ONE GOD as you can see of what i put in the picture. I learn more and more about the bible and further my relationship with God everyday when i do this project. I really just enjoying figuring out how i am going to say that days message through a simple piece of art because i don't want these taking days because these are daily projects. Today the camera i use was acting funny so i didn't get the pictures i exactly wanted and then when i was taking some the battery died. So i had to make due with the pictures i had. Well the pictures ended up not to bad i combined a picture i took of my bible on the passage i was focusing on with a sheet of white paper that i had painted the words "there is only ONE GOD" and today's book of the bible which it came from. Some people who might read this who aren't Christians and that is a really good thing to read because i know i believe in ONLY ONE GOD and i want you to too! So i think this is a good passage to read and always good to start somewhere in the bible to start a relationship with God. I definitely encourage it! :)

Deuteronomy 4:32-40
32 “Now search all of history, from the time God created people on the earth until now, and search from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything as great as this ever been seen or heard before? 33 Has any nation ever heard the voice of God speaking from fire—as you did—and survived? 34 Has any other god dared to take a nation for himself out of another nation by means of trials, miraculous signs, wonders, war, a strong hand, a powerful arm, and terrifying acts? Yet that is what the Lord your God did for you in Egypt, right before your eyes.
35 “He showed you these things so you would know that the Lord is God and there is no other. 36 He let you hear his voice from heaven so he could instruct you. He let you see his great fire here on earth so he could speak to you from it. 37 Because he loved your ancestors, he chose to bless their descendants, and he personally brought you out of Egypt with a great display of power. 38 He drove out nations far greater than you, so he could bring you in and give you their land as your special possession, as it is today.

39 “So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other. 40 If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. I am giving you these instructions so you will enjoy a long life in the land the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

Day 4: Numbers

Hello Day 4: Numbers -GROW
Today was very difficult for me with this project. I really did not understand a lot of the things I read as well as not knowing how i wanted to portray it in today's piece. In numbers the people begin to grow with more people as well as grow in there faiths. I really wanted to use the numbers because of size and more and more people, but ultimately more people grew in there faiths. That is were the word comes from today is grow so that we can grow in our faiths. My art piece today was not what i really wanted to use but you have to have lots of failed pieces to get the good ones so... Well i hope you all like and and i hope it portrays the message.

numbers 3:49-51 So Moses collected the redemption money from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites. From the 273 firstborn Israelites he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels according to the Sanctuary shekel. Moses turned over the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of God.

Day 3: Leviticus

Hello Day 3: Leviticus -GOD'S
Today when i was going through Leviticus the first thing that was in my head when i read the bible was offerings. At church when we give offerings is usually 10 percent of what you get. Even though we can always give way more. In the end it is all God's thats were todays word is from God's because He owns everything. You think that money is yours? You are so wrong that is all God's and when you tithe He will provide for you what you need and that is a promise. Just watch and see it happen in your own life. I really wanted to show a big message with todays work so i showed in my photographs how God has all and you have nothing because it is all His.

Leviticus 27:30
30 “One tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy. 31 If you want to buy back the Lord’s tenth of the grain or fruit, you must pay its value, plus 20 percent. 32 Count off every tenth animal from your herds and flocks and set them apart for the Lord as holy.

Day 2: Exodus

Hello Day 2: Exodus -ACTION
For today the first thing i thought of for Exodus was Moses and the burning bush. So today my main focus in Exodus was chapter 3 and 4. It focused on God telling Moses what He wanted him to do. But Moses was like can't you send someone else like my brother. So today was a fun day so i got to go to the park! and take action!! Which God wanted Moses to take action, so that's where the word for today comes from. So i decided to work with a photograph today. I went to the park and wrote on stairs "When God calls, we must respond with ACTION!!!" Then i photographed it and decided to make just a big statement on it! Which you can see by the picture i posted with today's blog. It was really fun for me to do this because i played around with pictures and on the computer to make today's art. Also i thought it was pretty awesome how i wrote that out at a park!! So i really hope lots of people go there and see it!!! So i might have more things like that because i like that other people can to see it outside with the chalk. Also i took some pictures of my friend Ashley at the park so if you want to check them out of
Facebook you can!

Exodus 3:11-15

11 But Moses protested to God, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?”

12 God answered, “I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.”

13 But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?”

14 God replied to Moses, “I Am Who I Am.a]" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em; ">[a] Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you.” 15 God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh,b]" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em; ">[b] the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.

This is my eternal name,
my name to remember for all generations.

Day 1: Genesis

Hello Day 1: Genesis -TEMPTATIONS
For Genesis when i started reading the first thing i think of is creations and temptations. Then i think of what i am going to do with this. Well i wanted to experiment with color so i used color pencils to see the different effect of creating the apple form. Then i wanted to use color because I think of creation i think of color and nature and the apple comes from a tree (nature). Also i wanted to say something about temptation because without it, we would not have sinned and then without it there would have been no reason for Jesus to come and die on the cross for all our sins. So the apple is also standing for temptation which is actually a great thing because without temptation we would not have sinned and then Jesus wouldn't have died for our sinned so i guess i am saying i am grateful for temptations. This chapter i focused on for this was Genesis 3.

Genesis 3:6 [artwork]
6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

66 Words...

I'm BACK!!!

Time for some new blog post! Sorry I have not posted in FOREVER.... But it is time for new stuff! Well i haven't posted anything i have been doing but that's fine because you don't need to know everything i am doing ha ha. Well I am about to start a project on my blog and i will try to keep it on my Facebook as well. Its called 66 Words... and it stands for the 66 books of the bible! Something God has given me is my talent in art and i want to use it for Him. So for the next 66 days i will attempt some sort of art project everyday to relate to that book of the bible and i will tell you why i choose that one word to represent that book of the bible. I will not be reading each book of the bible everyday that's why I will most likely do second parts to this project. I will be focusing on what i feel God is telling me that day through what i read in that specific book of the bible that day. I will be doing anything from a quick sketch to a photograph or a quick snap shot on my cell phone even paint colors i think represent that days word. I really am excited for this project because it will help me have a better knowledge of the bible and have a better relationship with God and learn more about His amazing word everyday and for it to be on the Internet so many people can read and decide to open up their bible. I really hope you decide to follow this project and I cant wait to start! :)

BEACH pictures!

So i left camp and went to my cousins house to go to their graduation and now i am at their house on the beach so i will post some photos from here. I havent taken any other photos besides the ones today at the beach but hopefully i will get more things started. So camp was such a great experience. We did things like trust falls from high platforms to having to use your whole team to get each member over a high wall. Alot of these activitys were realting to trusting God in all that He has in store for you. Then i chose missions as my track and it was so great doing that and making a difference in all those peoples lifes. We went to an ashymers home and talked to people there. Then we went to a brain trama center and sang to them and did puppetts. Then the next day we played with children at a day care. These people really just spoke to me to hear what they have to say. Some things that people were going through just broke my heart exspecially what these children are going through. It really just made me want to work more with people and become a missionary. This summer i am going to Puerto Rico on an mission trip and i think after that it will deffinatly be more clear if i should become a missionary after that trip. So that whole week really just got to my heart. So today is father's day so.. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!! Love you! So since i am not in town i only got to talk to my Dad on the phone but instead me and my cousins made father's day cards and handed them out to old folks at a retirement home. Them tommorrow i am going home and tuesday i get to start my summer internship, so i am super stoked about that. Them wednesday night i am leaving town again to go to the beach with my friend. So thats a little bit thats going on right now. I hope you all are doing great! God Bless! thanks for reading ;)
