Day 11: I Kings
Hello Day 11: 1 Kings -PRAY
So today when i was reading, i was focusing on Solomon and how he kept praying to the Lord and dedicating all things to Him. So i decided to focus prayer. Well as you know its very complicated to try to do a quick and easy art project everyday especially when you don't have all day. I think its really good though because it keeps me thinking all the time and helps me learn more about art and what i like and do not like. It also helps me learn about the bible because i can not do a piece of work and not know what it is about. So i always have to figure what i am reading before i make art. Also if you have any suggestions on a good web site to go to when i need to understand a book of the bible better that would be very helpful. So today's work is different things combined. The background is a painting i made representing when Solomon praises the Lord, i used glass on the painting to represent the temple because its great and bright and when light reflects glass it become bright and when i see brightness it remind me of God. Then i took sharpies and wrote on a broken mirror pray., which is today's word for when Solomon prayed before the entire community of Israel. Then after i photographed both pieces i took parts of them and photo shopped them together into today's piece of art. So my art work with the project will probably never be the best but i think that it really helps me have better techniques and learn so much more with God and art.
